New Music: Noah Francis Johnson "Bleed"

I'm quite taken by the latest musical offering from Noah Francis Johnson. His new track "Bleed" sounds like you've run into Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Bruce Hornsby in an alley, and they turn to square off with the listener. No duck and run here. Johnson is ready for a fight.

And did I mention he's is a former professional boxer? Yeah, he wins this round.

Via press release:

"The song “Bleed” is the manifestation of universal hurt, physical, psychological, emotional and my final stance against it. There is without a doubt a universal awakening that identifies two poles with a diminishing middle ground those who control the means, who dictate, make believe, impose even on our dreams and set us against each other and then there is us who strive just to be."

"Bleed is my contribution, my footnotes, my personal experiences and my reflections on these widening poles and awakenings that we are witnessing across the planet."

“There’s some things I can’t do, but there’s nothing I can’t say, it’s all that I got left and you’re not taking that away"

In doing research for this article, I came across a cover of the mega-hit "You're The One That I Want." I'm including it for your listening as I personally love covers like this. Johnson finds a whole new level of desire hiding underneath the GREASE pop tune. Earthy and yearning. Take a listen below.

Make sure you keep an eye for  Noah Francis Johnson. I like. Find him on iTunes here.
